What year did you begin to play your instrument, and why that specific instrument? 1989. Actually harp was my first choice, but there was no harp teacher in my music school. And at that time there was a popular flute player in the media, so I got fascinated by the instrument.

What does your educational background look like? Studied at the Royal conservatory of Brussels.
What is you favourite moment from your time in the MSO? The opening concert at Malmö Live playing Berlioz Symphony Fantastique.

What do you prefer to do in your spare time? Spending time with my children, cinema and concerts. Preferably all together :)

Why should everyone go and listen to symphonic music? Because you can experience the sound of a very expensive stereo system in real life! Feeling the sound and vibrations of each individual instrument is priceless.
