The concert hall is run by Malmö Live Konserthus AB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Malmö, which operates concert activities with the help of financial support from the City of Malmö, Region Skåne and the Swedish government. The company raises the profile of the concert hall, and Malmö as a music city, by developing and complementing the musical life of both the city itself and the surrounding region. The organisation includes the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, together with the programme areas of “events and concerts”, “meeting place” and “cultural-political programmes”.
