Paus: Morning consert // Violin & viola

PAUS is a beautiful and meditative musical experience, which gives you a perfect start to your day. With this first concert to invite spring, we will meet two musicians from Malmö Symphony Orchestra – Marcus Bäckerud and Oscar Edin.   

Gather strength for the day with PAUS – our program series with free morning concerts. To start off this spring's PAUS, we are joined by two musicians from our very own Malmö Symphony Orchestra. MSO is one of Sweden's leading symphony orchestras with a high international standard, celebrating 100 years this year. 

Marcus Bäckerud and Oscar Edin belong to the younger generation of musicians playing with Malmö Symphony Orchestra, both have studied at Malmö Music Academy. Marcus Bäckerud is section leader of the second violins, and Oscar Edin is a substitute section leader of the violas. 

Together they will treat you to a music selection well fitted for an early start in our beautiful concert hall.
