Chamber Concert #4

Malin Nyström (violin), Einar Öhman (horn), and Francisca Skoogh (piano) come together in a program that unites British elegance, contemporary expression, and Romantic depth. Lennox Berkeley’s Trio from 1952 opens the concert with three movements. This is followed by Lera Auerbach’s T’filah / Lonely Suite for solo violin – a work centered on introspection and powerful presence.

The program concludes with Johannes Brahms’s Horn Trio in E-flat major, written in 1865 in memory of the composer’s mother, Christiane.

The chamber concerts have been made possible through contributions from the Friends of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra in memory of Carl-Ludvig and Marianne Lindstrand.
