Already four years after their breakthrough in Sweden, Stockholm-based waterbaby has reached an international audience with her soulful voice and their fusion of soul, pop and folk. 

The first time we got to experience her amazing voice was Stockholmsvy, a duet with the artist Hannes that had a huge impact. Today, the Stockholm-born singer-songwriter waterbaby stands on her own two feet and is recognized internationally for her soulful music. 

Stockholmsvy was released in 2022 and the following year waterbaby's own internationally acclaimed singles Airforce blue and 911 came. With the prestigious American record label Sub Pop behind her, she has already received great recognition from media such as the New York Times, The Guardian, NME, Dazed & Confused, The FADER and BBC Radio1.

At the beginning of her career, waterbaby, or Kendra Egerbladh as she is actually called, fronted the acclaimed artist Seinabo Sey and her own music is at least as soulful and emotionally charged as her former employer.

This fall she brings her dark, nostalgic world to Malmö Live. By exploring the intense love and emotional worlds that shape her artistry, the concert becomes an immersive extension of the music's raw honesty and rich arrangements. After the concert, there will be a DJ after-party in the Kubenfoajén.
