"The Nutracker” legendary classical ballet by P. Tchaikovsky with the participation of ballet soloists from leading European theatres.

“The Nutcracker” made its world premiere in 1892 in Saint Petersburg, on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. “The Nutcracker” is a multifaceted fairy tale; vibrant Christmas fun, mystery, and mysticism, which is an important feature of Hoffmann’s work, have a place within it. This ballet has become a truly exciting and magical New Year story for both children and adults, and almost no Christmas or New Year celebration is complete without the characters of this amazing and wise fairy tale.

Soloists and ballet dancers of the Paris Opera, La Scala, the Royal Ballet in London, the Czech National Ballet, the Barcelona Ballet, the National Ballet of Bordeaux, the Royal Danish Ballet, etc. take part in “WORLDSTARS” performances, and “The Nutcracker” ballet occupies a truly special place in the company’s repertoire. The main task of “WORLDSTARS” is preserving classical ballet traditions and heritage.

Olga Azizova, “WORLDSTARS” member of the board and tour organiser:

“I am proud that for 12 years “WORLDSTARS” has been organising great projects in the field of ballet art in four countries – Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, and Norway. Over the years, tens of thousands of spectators have seen the best soloists of the Paris Opera, the Royal Ballet in London, La Scala and other theatres, and they have enjoyed the unique beauty and cordiality of ballet art. I am happy to announce that on 11 January, a festive performance for the whole family “The Nutcracker” will be presented at Malmö Live and is going to be performed by famous European ballet soloists. I sincerely believe that when the characters of this wonderful ballet touch your hearts, you will share the joy of this special evening with your loved ones with great warmth. It is very important for me that each performance takes the audience on a joyful and inspiring journey into the world of art that truly touches the soul. Come to watch “The Nutcracker” ballet and, after the performance, having come home in a great mood, you will be truly happy that 2023 has begun in a festive atmosphere!
