Nordic Baltic Masters

April 7-11, the Malmö Academy of Music will host Nordtrad, an annual event where students and teachers from folk and world music programs at music academies in the Nordic and Baltic regions meet for concerts, workshops, and more. 

The teachers at these academies are among the best musicians that the folk and world music genre in Northern Europe has to offer and are important artists and tradition bearers in their respective countries. Take the chance to experience a unique cavalcade where over 40 participating teachers from all music academies present themselves in a colorful, unique program with everything from traditional folk music to experiments that transcend tradition.
