Malmöiter: TriJoLi

The year’s first Malmöiter welcomes the jazz trio TriJoLi to the Canal Stage.

TriJoLi is a newly formed trio from Skurups Folk High School, exploring the boundaries of the classical saxophone trio format with a playful yet sophisticated approach. Led by Jonatan Lidström on tenor saxophone, the group performs original compositions as well as interpretations of jazz standards and other works. The band also features Sigrid Vahlin on double bass and Holme Fernholm on drums.
