2018 saw the introduction of our Christmas lunch, which on this occasion, was accompanied by Edda Magnason and Margareta Bengtsson and was greeted with great warmth and appreciation on the part of the visitors who were able to share in Christmas carols, good food and Christmas stories. It is with great pleasure that we can now announce that "A Joyful Christmas Lunch" is back - this time with Sofia Karlsson and Martin Hederos.
A unique musical experience in an awe-inspiring atmosphere
For some years now Sofia Karlsson and Martin Hederos have set out on their traditional hugely popular Starry Nights Christmas tour. This year, they have chosen to make a ten-day stop at Malmö Live Concert Hall to present their own programme specially composed for our Christmas lunch concert. The scenography by Sven Dahlberg sets a magical mood in the hall, and bestows a calm, far from the stresses of Christmas presents and Christmas reviews.
As in previous years, guests are served a Christmas menu, as well as mulled wine and coffee, before and between the two concert acts. The menu will consist of a non-vegetarian and a lacto-ovo-vegetarian option. It will be a pleasant breathing space in which to indulge in an otherwise hectic month of December.

Sofia Karlsson sång
Sofia Karlsson har med sin unika röst och egensinniga musik turnerat Sverige runt sedan 2005, då hon fick sitt genombrott med albumet ”Svarta Ballader”. Albumet sålde 100 000 exemplar. Sofia Karlsson har sedan dess mottagit fyra Grammis, ett flertal andra priser och genomfört otaliga hyllade liveframträdanden.
Martin Hederos
Martin Hederos är en av Sveriges mest erkända låtskrivare och musiker och var bland annat med och grundade The Soundtrack of Our Lives. Han har samarbetat och gjort musik med ett flertal svenska musiker och turnerat även med Weeping Willows, Johnossi och Ane Brun. Just nu spelar Martin Hederos i bandet Tonbruket.
